Antioxidants are believed to have beneficial healing effects in reducing inflammation. Bright colored foods are known to have more antioxidants. Add in your diet fruits like berries, plums, red apples, dark grapes and cherries. Meanwhile, colored vegetables may include red lettuce, red cabbage, spinach and broccoli.

Natural ways to deal with any ailment is often preferred by many specifically those who are on tight budget. Some seniors hate drinking medicines because of the smell while others cannot afford.
