Today, the group continues to provide private and behavioral health and social support services program for the children, adolescents, young adults and families living in the greater Phoenix area. The program includes positive behavioral coaching, mentoring and habitation, individual, couples and family counseling and assessment and evaluation services. And in the future, CFSS hopes to continue their cause through private pay services statewide. And this time private individual can also benefit from their services and not just the Medicaid enrollees.

Direct Support

Direct support services encompass a broad range of services and activities that assist young people and families meet day-to-day needs that have been holding them back from reaching their full potential.  These services are provided in homes, schools, or other community settings, and are individualized to the needs, strengths, and culture of those receiving them.

Counseling for Individuals, Couples, and Families

CFSS counseling services are available on individual, couples, and family sessions. These services apply an approach that goes beyond just sitting and talking, especially with children and teens.  Counselors often engage children and teens in activities that facilitate effective counseling.

Behavioral Health

Licensed by the Office of Behavioral Health, CFSS is authorized to provide comprehensive out-patient behavioral health services, including direct support, case management, Child and Family Team facilitation, counseling, medical/psychiatric services, and assistance with medication.  These services are available to children and adolescents from birth to age 17, as well as their families.

CFSS Latino/Hispanic Bilingual Direct Support

CFSS has committed to provide direct support workers that were bilingual in Spanish and English.  This allowed support workers to tailor their support to the unique cultural customs of the Hispanic/Latino population, and to the culture of each specific Hispanic/Latino family.  This individualized care has allowed these families to feel supported and receive the services they need.

Supported Living Services

Provided for young adults between 18 and 25, CFSS provides the services needed to learn to live successful independent lives in their communities.  Once the individuals have arranged housing, CFSS assists these young adults in learning the living skills needed to live on their own.  Support staffs create individualized plans that teach, model, support, and assist the young adults to develop skill needed to live successfully within their communities.

Child and Family Support Services (CFSS) are known for their commitment, which is to provide flexible, home and community-based behavioral support services. Their support services aim to help families, children and young adults to live to the fullest. If your family or someone you know could benefit from the services provided by CFSS, the group has gone out of their way to make their services affordable. Their services come with a fee which is directly payable through credit card or PayPal. But the group also offers public behavioral health services for those who are under Medicaid. Likewise, they also offer support services for families in the Child-Protective Services.
